Camp Timeline & Who Does What
The AI Boot Camp runs July 27–31, 2026. Everything below shows what happens when,
who owns each step, and the one deadline that gates the start. Backup week is Aug 3–7, 2026
if the critical path slips.

The timeline
~Jul 10 · done, finalizing
Vendor registration
MetAiBlock registered as a City of Miramar vendor. Must be complete for the invoice to be payable.
Mon · Jul 13
50% deposit invoice sent
MetAiBlock sends the $7,000 deposit invoice to the City.
Tue · Jul 14
Logistics call
City IT, Facilities, and Finance meet with MetAiBlock. Confirms space, computers, and access.
Fri · Jul 17
50% deposit paid Gating milestone
City pays the $7,000 deposit by check (MetAiBlock picks it up, not mailed). This one date gates everything after it.
Tue · Jul 21 (by evening)
City completes the room and setup
The City finishes the room build-out and connectivity by Tuesday evening, so everything is ready before training.
Tue evening · Jul 21
MetAiBlock dry run
MetAiBlock tests the full setup Tuesday evening, so training starts clean and no training time is lost to setup.
Wed–Fri · Jul 22–24 · ~10am–3pm
Teacher training at the facility
The two teachers rehearse the exact program in the real room on the real equipment. City IT is on hand each day. All 15 student laptops are tested, ideally by Wednesday and no later than Friday.
Mon–Fri · Jul 27–31
Camp runs
9:00am start, daily through 3:00pm. Up to 15 teens (ages 13–15) build music, a digital comic book, and a video.
Fri · Jul 31
Showcase + final packages
Parents invited. Students take home the album, digital comic book, and video. Testimonials captured.
After completion
50% balance paid
City pays the remaining $7,000 once the program is complete.
The critical path (cannot slip)
🚀 These steps, in this order, protect the July 27 start
Deposit paid · Jul 17
→
City setup done · Tue Jul 21
→
MetAiBlock dry run · Tue evening
→
Training · Wed–Fri Jul 22–24
→
Camp starts · Mon Jul 27
Each step depends on the one before it. Training runs with City IT on hand and all 15 laptops tested. If any link is late, the next one moves and the start date is at risk.

If a deadline slips
⚠️ What happens, and what protects the program
Deposit not paid by Jul 17
→ City setup and training on Jul 21–24 cannot be confirmed
→ the July 27 start is at risk
→ the program moves to the backup week, Aug 3–7.
Laptops, WiFi, or domain/GPO access not ready and tested by training (Jul 22–24)
→ delivery is at risk. The WiFi stress test and the domain/GPO change are the two key dependencies. All 15 laptops, the network, and access to the AI tools must be working before camp opens.
Vendor registration not complete
→ the invoice cannot be paid
→ the whole chain slips.
Registrations come in under 15 students
→ the program still runs. It is sponsor-funded, so seats are first-come, first-serve.
✓ The backup week (Aug 3–7) is the built-in safety net if the deposit or training date moves.
